My name and my twin sister Jing Luo's, 罗 宁 · 罗 静, were given to us by our grandfather. Together they form 宁静, the first half of the idiom 宁静致远, which roughly translates to "through serenity, one reaches far". The phrase comes from Admonition to My Son (诫子书), a letter by Zhuge Liang (诸葛亮), the statesman and strategist of the Three Kingdoms period.
